Who Are We?
WCSP is a group of women who enjoy each other's company and who work continually to help children in need.
Members contribute to fundraising initiatives by:
- participating in various aspects of the Annual Luncheon such as:
-serving as a committee chair or committee member
-inviting and hosting guests to attend
-contributing a gift basket for the raffles
-selling raffle and 50/50 tickets
-donating funds to the event
- donating to a holiday fund for children’s charities
- helping to generate ideas for new fundraising options.
Membership
Members of WCSP:
- enjoy the company of women who are dedicated to helping children in need
- contribute to the decision-making process, keeping our mission statement at the heart of all deliberations and decisions
- support all fundraising initiatives of the Club
- serve as mentors to new members.
WCSP members' responsibilities include:
- paying annual dues by the second month (October) of our operating year (September-June).
- attending as many meetings as possible. Meetings are generally held the second Wednesday of each month, September-June.
- hosting or co-hosting one meeting annually
- staying well informed about the charities supported by the Club through presentations made by charity representatives, reading updates shared by charities, visiting websites, and participating in field trips to the charities when appropriate.
