WCSP Members have been very busy this year.
Here are just a few of the things we have been doing to help make the lives of children better.
Even though we are socially distant from each other these days, the work of WCSP continues. Here are a few of the things that are bringing us joy!
Members and friends of WCSP donated more than 12 complete Thanksgiving food baskets, plus over $700 in Gift Cards to Inter-Faith Food Cupboard on November 11.
WCSP continues to support The Baby Bureau by donating items for their Baby Bundles.

WCSP members visit Inter-Faith Housing Alliance. We learned so much from Marsha Eichelberg, Executive Director, and Sue Zomberg, Community Resource Manager, about how this organization is helping the most vulnerable families in our area.

in the past, WCSP members and friends have enjoyed "High Tea." We had such fun, enjoying each others' company and savoring a delicious lunch... all while adding a bit more $$ to our charitable giving coffers at this mini-fundraiser!
WCSP Members purchased holiday gifts for children and their families who are served by Inter-Faith Housing Alliance, Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, and Silver Springs Martin Luther School.

Every month WCSP donates food and other necessities to Inter-Faith's "Food Cupboard" which provides a variety of foods to low-income residents of Montgomery County to reduce food insecurity and improve nutrition.
Inter-Faith Housing Alliance Food Cupboard Currently Needs:
Canned meat/fish (tuna, salmon, chicken, ham, Vienna sausages), Spam,chili, beef stew, corned beef hash, healthy snacks, jelly, spaghetti sauce, juice
Where and when to donate:
1250 Easton Road in Roslyn (brick building behind Living Word Lutheran Church)
Mon. to Fri. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sat. 9 a.m. to noon
Give your donated food to a WCSP member to bring to a meeting. We will amke sure all donations are taken to the Food Cupboard.
Please bring items within their expiration dates and unopened, unless packaged individually.
